Troubleshooting License Activations/Deactivations

Download FLEXnetActivation: http://www.foray.com/download/FLEXnetActivation.zip

• You can simply fire it up and click View. This will show all of the activation records.

To activate using FLEXnetActivation:

• Set the server

  • Ex: http://activate.foray.com/flexnet/services/ActivationService

  • Ex: 27000@localhost

• Set the Activation ID

• Click "Set Values"

• Click Activate or Return

If activation is failing:

• Make sure you can reach http://activate.foray.com

• If you can reach activate.foray.com in IE but still can't activate the port may only be open for IE

v1.5 filters failing to activate automatically under WinXP

Right click on “FLEXnetActivation.exe” , choose "Run as", and uncheck the box that says “Protect my computer…”

• Set the server

  • Ex: http://activate.foray.com/flexnet/services/ActivationService

• Set the Activation ID

• Click "Set Values"

• Click Activate
