Error importing or converting MoreHits database

Problem

As soon as a directory is selected for “MoreHits - Import Exported…” or “MoreHits - Convert Database…” a dialog appears with the following message:

There was an error importing the More Hits FITS cases.

Error: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

Solution

64 bit ODBC drivers for Microsoft Access are needed. This requires Digital Admin 6.3 or later.

  1. Go to Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 (v14)

  2. Click Download

  3. Check AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe

  4. Next

  5. After it downloads run AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe

Once the 64 bit ODBC drivers have been installed then Digital Admin will be able to import or convert MoreHits databases.
