Can only access AdamsWeb by a single specific name

Problem

AdamsWeb can be accessed by a server or cluster name buy not by any other name or IP address.  Other name and IPs that should be valid return a 404 error.

Solution

The IIS web site is configured to bind only the specific name to port 80. It must be changed to accept any name or the list of accepted names must be expanded.

  1. Click to select "Default Web Site"
  2. On the right hand side click "Bindings..."
  3. There will be a line that has "Type http" "Port 80" and "Host Name" will be the single name that works.
  4. Either edit this line to remove the hostname or add additional lines for the other names and IPs you'd like to use.
