A 500.19 error loading Adams Admin, Adams Web, or even the default IIS page can mean that there is an error loading the web.config file.

One of the things that can cause this is removing and then re-adding the IIS role after one or more IIS modules. Those modules will still be installed but will be broken and need to be repaired.

Examples include

  • URL rewrite module

  • DotNet Hosting runtime

 

If this is the issue a repair of the modules in add/remove programs should resolve it.
