Adams Web Download Fails

If an Adams Web download doesn't work some possibilities are:

Access is Denied

The ASP.NET version may not be set. Warning: setting the ASP.NET version will clear out the customer HTTP Handlers (ex: .download, .mp3, etc)

Page Not Found

The custom HTTP handlers are most likely missing

"The website declined to show this webpage" HTTP 403

Check the HTTP Handlers. If the path starts with %windir% instead of the actual path and/or the "Script Engine" option is not checked then they need to be corrected. The path needs to start with the actual windir directory (EX: C:\WINDOWS) and Script Engine option needs to be checked.

Sometimes this isn't setup properly during installation and the reason is unknown.

ADAMS Error: CallHandlerExecutionStep

The asset has probably been Moved (or possible Archived).
