Can't save backup database Windows Task
Problem
When going to save the backup database Windows Task the following error may occur:
Task Scheduler
An error has occurred for the task <task name>. Error message: The following error was reported: A specified logon session does not exist. It may have already been terminated.
Solution
This is due to the following group policy being enabled:
Computer Configuration | Windows Settings | Security Settings | Local Policies | Security Options
Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication
This policy has most likely been set at the domain level and will need to be modified there.
