Photoshop slow to open images for processing

Problem

When  processing images from Adams Web into Photoshop they take a long time to open.

Solution

  1. Search for Photoshop in the Start menu

  2. Right-click

  3. Select “Run as administrator”

  4. Once Photoshop has completed launching it can be closed

This only has to be done once. It allows Photoshop to fix some registry values.
