Filter 1.11+ won't Install

Problem

An attempt to install the 1.11 version of the filters fails with the message:

"The previous version of the Image Calibration filter must be uninstalled before this version can be installed"

Solution

Chromatic FFT


  1. Search the HKLM section of the registry for 97F3742710A225D49B788FA59BE25E6F and remove the matching entry
  2. Also search for "Chromatic" and remove any matching entries

Image Calibration

  1. Search the HKLM section of the registry for 58EC1FF4602D3DE4AA53F745A0799560 and remove the matching entry
  2. Also search for "Image Calibration" and remove any matching entries


As of 1.11 the filters support both 64 and 32 bit Photoshop. For the install to work the previous version must be uninstalled. If that uninstall failed then the registry has to be cleaned up.
