No Email Sent when the Folder's Status Changed

Problem

A notification email is not sent when the Folder’s status is changed

Solution

Reasons why an email will not be sent:

  1. Adams must be 6.3 or later

  2. The recipient must meet one of these conditions:

    1. be in a group with Notify for Folder Status privilege for the status in question OR

    2. is on the Folder access list and has the Notify Access List for Folder Status privilege OR

    3. is the Folder’s creator and has the Notify Access List for Folder Status privilege and the Access Created Folder privilege

  3. The recipient must have access to the Folder.

    1. If the recipient is in an Outside Agency group and the Folder’s submitting agency is not the recipient’s Outside Agency, then they will not have access to the Folder.

  4. The sender email address is adams_error@foray.com. See Adams Admin > Email > Username

  5. Email is not configured. See Adams Admin > Email
