Manually Export a Certificate

Manually export a certificate such as for use with Elasticsearch.

Instructions

1. Open Manage Computer Certificate

2. Right-click on the certificate → All Tasks → Export

3. Certificate Export Wizard

   1. Next

   2. Yes, export the private key - If this is disabled then this certificate can not be used with Elasticsearch

   3. Next

   4. Personal Information Exchange - PKCS #12 (.PFX)

      1. Include all certificates in the certification path if possible

   5. Next

   6. Password - Enter a password

   7. Next

   8. File name - select a path and enter a filename

   9. Next

   10. Finish

   11. OK
