Troubleshooting License Activations/Deactivations

Problem

You can simply fire it up and click View. This will show all of the activation records.

To activate using FLEXnetActivation:

Set the server
- Ex: http://activate.foray.com/flexnet/services/ActivationService
- Ex: 27000@localhost
Set the Activation ID
Click "Set Values"
Click Activate or Return

If activation is failing:

Make sure you can reach http://activate.foray.com
If you can reach activate.foray.com in IE but still can't activate the port may only be open for IE

Right click on “FLEXnetActivation.exe” , choose "Run as", and uncheck the box that says “Protect my computer…”

Set the server
- Ex: http://activate.foray.com/flexnet/services/ActivationService
Set the Activation ID
Click "Set Values"
Click Activate
